Everybody Can Enjoy Art!
A Message from Casey Jo White, SAGA Vice President of Education
Greetings artists! It’s already November and we’re heading into the winter months, but I wanted to share with everyone a belated report of our summer workshops. This year I hosted the Farmers’ M[art]ket Creativity Workshops on Saturdays from June through August. During these workshops, over 70 people participated in art and craft projects including tie-dye, painting, collage, and animation.

This is also a reminder that if you made art during the summer creative workshops and left them for display at The Gallery, you can come by during regular hours to pick them up, or contact SAGA to arrange a meeting to get them.
With summer behind us and winter coming on, next up on our agenda is The Gallery’s annual We Love Art show. We invite all artists to stop in and participate by donating $10 for a canvas ($15 for two canvases) to paint, draw on, sculpt, or create with however you want. Return your canvas by December 3rd for display in The Gallery. Stop by on Friday, December 5th during the Mistletoe Market and Christmas parade to see all the art on display and vote for your favorite.
A We Love P[Art]y will be held on Saturday, December 13th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm to celebrate the artists and present awards.
